You will get discounts on various dental procedures such as x-ray, crowns, regular teeth cleaning, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and bridges. You have to pay the dentist at the time when dental work is performed. The dental discount card does not pay the provider. The individuals have to pay monthly fees to the discount program in exchange for discounted rates at participating dental providers. This card may be used along with the Dental Insurance Indemnity program. Discounts go in effect during the 1st visit to the doctor with no deductible. For a service, dentist will charge you the contracted discounted rate that has been pre-negotiated. In this type of plan, no waiting periods are required. Annual maximum benefit also does not apply to the dental discount card and you may use discount plan membership as frequently as needed.
