Computed Tomography (CT) is a computer-enhanced scanning method indicated to analyze x-ray pictures. A computer is generating high resolution, 2-dimensional images that resemble anatomic brain slices or whatever organs are being imaged. A patient should lie still during the computed tomography (CT) but feel no discomfort. With computed tomography, a physician may detect various spinal and brain defects with such precisions that the techniques have significantly improved neurologic care qualities and revolutionized neurology practice. Computed Tomography is used not only to detect neurologic disorders, but also to monitor treatment progress.
