Clonazepam (brand name Klonapin) is a type of anti-anxiety, anti-epileptic drug, Benzodiazepine. This medication is available only by prescription. It works by facilitation effects of a chemical in the brain that decreases nervous activities. Clonazepam is used for treatment of soe kinds of panic disorders, epilepsy, insomnia. Doses may range based on age or types of disease. You should swallow the whole tablet with an 8oz glass of water or milk. Dose should not be higher or lower than doctor prescribed.
